LABÉ VILLA

Description

Single-storey residential villa located in Labé, in a wooded natural setting (Fouta Djallon highlands). The project adopts a revisited local language: volumes with green-tiled cantilevered pitched roofs protecting the facades from rain and sun, facades in ochre-yellow and sand-beige render, and local natural-stone cladding around the openings and corners. Large sliding windows allowing the Fouta light to enter. Cantilevered canopy sheltering the glazed main entrance. Ideal for a primary or secondary residence in a mountain area, combining indoor coolness, local-material durability and strong cultural identity.
